A 10-page article on Mauritius as a honeymoon destination was published in the March issue of Voyage Magazine, Russia’s leading travel consumer magazine, with a circulation of 125, 000 copies.
The article presented the wedding of two Russian journalists who got married and spent their honeymoon in Mauritius. The bride describes in detail her feelings, emotions, talks of the preparation for the wedding and the beauty and uniqueness of being married in Mauritius. The article focused on Mauritius as a dream island for marriage and honeymoon.
Two more articles are expected in Elle and Your Leisure magazines (based on the same project).
The whole operation was supported by MTPA, Beachcomber Hotels and Solis Indian Ocean.
The article in Voyage also inspired the editorial board to launch a special project: a contest of photos called “Honeymoon”.
